Hakim Ziyech has been pictured in Chelsea training gear for the first time following his move from Ajax.

The 27-year-old sealed a £33million switch to Stamford Bridge in April and has now joined up with Frank Lampard’s squad.

The Morocco ace is not eligible to feature for the Blues for the rest of the campaign but will be hoping to get up to speed before the next season.

The 2020/21 campaign will start in either August or September and Ziyech will hope to become familiar with his team-mates before the kick-off.

Chelsea are wasting no time in the transfer market and have also sealed a £47.5m move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner as Lampard looks to form a new look attack ahead of next season.

And red-hot winger Christian Pulisic has admitted he is excited to form a partnership with Ziyech next season.

He told Sky Sports: “I’m excited to work with them. ‘It’s fun to play with good players, it’s easy to play with them and those are two guys we know that are really talented guys so I’m really looking forward to it. ‘We can have a really strong team next season. I think there’s still work that needs to be done [to catch Liverpool and Man City].
